White corundum is made of industrial alumina powder as raw material and refined using modern new unique technology. Sandblasting abrasives have the characteristics of short grinding time, high efficiency, good benefits and low price. The main components: aluminum oxide (Al2O3) content is more than 98%, and contains a small amount of iron oxide, silicon oxide and other components. It is white in color. It is made by smelting at a high temperature of more than 2000 degrees in an electric arc and then cooling. It is crushed and shaped, magnetically separated to remove iron, and screened into a variety of particle sizes. Its texture is dense and hard, and the particles form sharp corners.
White corundum has slightly higher hardness than brown corundum, slightly lower toughness, high purity, good self-sharpening, strong grinding ability, low calorific value, high efficiency, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and high temperature and thermal stability. Abrasive tools made of white corundum sand are suitable for grinding fine-grained abrasives such as high-carbon steel, high-speed steel and stainless steel. White corundum segment sand can also be used for precision casting and advanced refractory materials.
Usage examples:
1. Can be used for various sandblasting and polishing operations;
2. Atomized aesthetic processing of glass or acrylic artworks;
3. Sandblasting during the TV screen manufacturing process;
4. Cutting of silicon wafers;
5. Cleaning and sandblasting of tooth mold;
6. Molding sand for precision casting;
