Application:
Mainly used as yttrium iron garnet additive and nuclear reactor control material, also used in the manufacture of special luminescent glass and infrared absorbing glass, and also used as glass colorant. It is obtained by separating and erbium sulfate solution after reacting with alkali. Only Er2O3 is a stable compound. It is a powder with two structures of body-centered cubic and monoclinic. Er2O3 magnetic moment is also larger, 9.5M.B.. Other properties and preparation methods are the same as those of lanthanides. Make pink glass.
